In my work, I explore what it means to be human—messy, unpredictable, and full of delightful quirks; unashamed of whimsy, simplicity, open-heartedness and the freedom and richness inherent in ‘perfect imperfection’. “Perfectly imperfect” has almost become a motto for my life and art and is central to my intention when creating it.

“More than anything, I’d love for my art to be a playful invitation to embrace fun, to rediscover the joy tucked into the ordinary or the ‘frustrating’, to notice the light just as much as we notice the dark, to laugh with reality as it is as opposed to what we think it should be. I suppose it could be considered a joyous love letter to humanity – including me.” Sally Wilson
