Dougal Ramsay

Dougal Ramsay is an illustrator/artist and lives locally in Queenscliff.

He is a passionate advocate of preserving our Australian rural and suburban culture; much of which has already disappeared.

His work is found in many private collections both in Australia and overseas. He has contributed to numerous publications including The Age newspaper; as well he has written and illustrated his own book on the small holding farmer.

His most recent exhibition in 2016 was held at “Australian Galleries” in Melbourne.

Dougal is also one half of the partnership “dougal” with daughter Arabella Ramsay, who transforms her father’s illustrations into iconic textiles for her lifestyle brand.
