Alice Morgan is a potter living in Barwon Heads, Victoria and the creative force behind Muddynest Ceramics.
All of her pieces are made using hand-building techniques in the home studio, using a variety of earthy stoneware clays.
“I enjoy creating pieces that are beautiful to touch and look at, but are also practical to use every day. I love the slow, peaceful process of working with clay and the anticipation of finally being able to open the kiln to see the end product.”
A keen gardener many of her pieces are inspired by the surrounding vegetation, including the beautiful, protected Yellow Gums of the Bellarine, Eucalypts, Saltbush, Moonah Trees and other local flora that abounds on our Peninsula.
