Georgie Gall’s artworks have always been intrinsically linked to the Bellarine and Surf Coast Peninsulas where Georgie grew up.
The ‘Contour’ series captures on canvas, the coastal life, exploring the play of light on the water, the shadows through the trees, and the contours of the land that form the natural dunes and the golfscapes that Georgie embraces.
The Australian landscape is an inescapable presence in all Georgie’s work and is the foundation of each painting. She is drawn to the play of texture, and colour in her paintings and aims to convey a simple and honest account of various real and imagined destinations.
Georgie Gall has been a practicing artist for over twenty years and has work in public and private collections in Australia, Hong Kong, the USA and UK.
